In Giant Consequences, a colossal enemy has appeared in their home town and threatens to turn everything into dust. In order to discover how to defeat the new foe and save Beacontown, Jesse and his friends must embark on a journey.

On Wednesday, Telltalle Games announced on its blog that Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Episode 2 will be available for download beginning Aug. 15. The episode will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.

Minecraft: Story Mode on Switch

In other news, Telltale Games also announced that the episodic point-and-click adventure is heading to Nintendo Switch. Fans of the new console will be able to purchase the first season of Minecraft: Story Mode starting Aug. 22 in North America and Aug. 25 in Europe.

All eight episodes (five from original season pass and three bonus episodes from the Adventure Pass) will be available via digital download or physical cartridges from retail stores. The complete first season was already released to PS4, Xbox One, and other consoles last December.  The complete Season 2 is also expected to be available for purchase by fall this year.

The game was originally released in October 2015 until March 2016. It brought Jesse and friends on a journey through familiar worlds such as the Overworld, the Nether, and End. It received positive responses from video game critics and long-time fans of the sandbox game, Minecraft, alike. A second season premiered on July 11 this year and will also have a total of five episodes.
