Ghost Recon Wildlands Update: New Witches Quest, Weapons, And More Content Leaks

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Season 2 and 4 content have been leaked. Content such as “The Witches” and new weapons will supposedly come to the title. According to Ghost Recon Wildlands leaker JRavens, the new Ghost Recon Wildlands content are as follows:

  • Season 2 wrap up content that could be connected to the “Witches” (UI_Background_Witches Map)
  • Witches Decals
  • Crow Skull Patch
  • Season 4 Unidad related map (UI_Season4_Background_Map_
  • Dragunov Sniper Rifle
  • Spirit and Gladiator Patches
  • Heavy armor Gladiator gear and Ghillie suit Spirit gear

The leaked content doesn’t seem to tease any major expansions to the title. Files found only include extra seasonal maps.

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is currently pushing out more linear content instead of the seamless, flexible story introduced at launch. The leaked content doesn’t seem to introduce any of the ambitious content that its developers intended to have in the first place.

The “Witches” in the Ghost Recon Wildlands universe are yet to be known forces in the title. Moreover, the Witches were only discovered through easter egg clues. Many fans would love to get this easter egg solved as a form of community activity and its potential loot rewards once discovered.

Previously, the Ghost Recon Wildlands community was able to solve the “Yeti” easter egg hunt. The hunt ended with a fight the “El Yeti” sniper that can one-shot players if he hits them. Defeating the easter egg enemy will grant you his equipment which can be useful and cosmetic for some players. The three witches easter egg could potentially have a similar reward.

As seen on the official Ghost Recon Wildlands Twitter, the July 21 patch notes is its latest announcement. We’ve yet to confirm if JRavens is accurate with his leak.

Ghost Recon Wildlands is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Stay updated with more Ghost Recon Wildlands news here on TheGamersDrop.
