Marvel vs Capcom Infinite to Get Late 2017 Launch

Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano finally reveals a more specific release window for the upcoming Marvel vs Capcom Infinite game.

This would indicate that the much-awaited title from the series will be released in late 2017. This gives an ample amount of time for players to speculate just who will be on the roster of heroes. Not to mention, this also gives Capcom a lot of time to expand on the game’s feature.

The game is one of Capcom’s biggest surprises in the 2016 PlayStation Experience. Now fans may be more surprised to see it’s going to be released as early as 2017.

Ayano, in an interview with 4Gamer, slipped that the game may be releasing late this year. This would put the game’s release in the middle of the fall gaming rush season. This makes sense, given the title may be one of Capcom’s biggest releases this year.

Sadly, Ayano didn’t specify just when is the game going to be released. Fans can still expect that it will have a big E3 showcase to take place during Sony’s press-con. Hopefully, fans can uncover more PlayStation-exclusive perks as well.

E3 aside, the following months that may lead up to the game’s release may be filled with Capcom revealing new features.

So far, only Captain Marvel, Captain America, Iron Man, Ryu, Morrigan and Megaman X were revealed in the roster. However, there appear to be more heroes to join the list given the game will have quite the exciting story.

The game is known to have a mysterious Infinity stone system. This allows for two-on-two tag battles with special Infinity Stones. Players can use these powers to turn the tide of battle.

A late 2017 release date definitely make sense than the game launching in the summer, as this gives Capcom a lot of time to hype the game.
