Tesla Model 3 Speculated to Run 215 Miles On Single Charge

The Tesla Model 3 claims that it will be able to go up to 215 miles on just one charge. Is this true? There is a widespread speculation regarding the veracity of this claim.

The Tesla Model 3 was announced on the 31st of March, 2016 and the delivery date has been kept for late 2017. However, the company has already garnered in excess of 400, 000 pre-orders. The company has also confirmed that new orders will not come till mid or late 2018.

Mobile & Apps reports that the Tesla Model 3 will be the cheapest and smallest car from the company and will possess ample mainstream appeal. The Model 3 is a tinier car in comparison to the Model S. However, the signature Tesla design touches will be there.

The front fascia will again be without a grille and will be flat like the Model S. There will be a second storage zone beneath the bonnet. The glass roof will run into the rear end/hunches from the bottom of the windshield.

There will be a horizontal 15 inch monitor strategically placed in the middle. Self-driving hardware will also come with the Tesla Model 3. Elon Musk has talked about how the car will be capable of offering Level 5 autonomous driving in the future.

Owners will have to fork out a whopping $5, 000 for Enhanced Autopilot while fully self-driving Tesla Model 3s will require $8, 000 extra. The Model 3 will be able to go for 215 miles on a single charge as per recent reports.

The Daily Sun reports that several people are wary of the Model 3’s range. The Model 3 may get a battery option for enhanced ranges. However, interestingly, people are not doubting the 215 mile claim. Instead, there are enthusiasts who feel that 250 miles should be a more viable range for the Model 3.
