HTC Vive 2 Release Date Reportedly Delayed

The HTC Vive 2 has been the subject of much speculation in recent times. There are rumors of the release date being delayed for this behemoth. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

HTC Vive 2 Release Date Delayed?

The HTC Vive 2 release date may well be delayed according to the Bitbag. The company is still in the development phase as per reports. The HTC Vive released to a rapturous response in April 2015. VR Gamers have been raving about the Vive ever since.

However, several gamers have also been eagerly talking about the Vive 2 release date. The company has already clarified that no official update releases are on the cards. However, this has not kept rumor mills from buzzing about version 2.

HTC is reportedly considering a new version of the Vive which will be more suited for arcade gaming. The design for the Vive 2 or arcade version will emphasize more on design and performance. There will be a new wireless feature for this VR headset as per reports.

HTC Vive 2 Rumors

HTC has already shown the VR gaming accessory for the Vive which enables wireless performance. The TPCAST has been developed by HTC Vive’s Chinese division, allowing for wireless running minus any hassles.

HTC has also tied up with Quark VR from Bulgaria to create wireless connectivity accessories for the European Vive customers. The Vive can be purchased from the online store of HTC and several other retailers. It has been one of HTC’s biggest hits in recent times.

It is priced at $800 and the bundle encompasses two controllers, headset and two sensors. The HTC Vive requires you to possess a high powered computer. It is no different from the Oculus Rift in this sense. The Intel i5 is capable enough but you must have the Radeon R9 290 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 graphic cards for using this satisfyingly.
