Forza Horizon 3 DLC: Blizzard Mountain DLC to bring New Vehicles, Race Types Next Month

Racing fans are in for a holiday treat as the Forza Horizon 3 DLC “Blizzard Mountain” arrives this coming December.

And what better way to celebrate the Winter season than with a brand new track that takes place up in a frozen paradise.

Of course, that’s not all the expansion brings. Here’s a full list of goodies on what to expect with the upcoming DLC as reported by Xbox Wire.

Forza Horizon 3 DLC: Blizzard Mountain

As previously mentioned the biggest hook in the new expansion is the addition of a brand new area that brings players to the snowy Alpine mountains. And these peaks bring with them new areas like a frozen lake and an extreme sports snow park.

In addition to that, the DLC will come with 50 new campaign challenges and events that challenge players to become the King of the Mountain.

These events will also include three new race types — Hill Climb, Descent, and Blizzard. There will also be new Blueprint, Bucket List, and Rival events to go with the pack.

Brand New Cars

And of course, what racing game expansion wouldn’t be complete without the addition of new toys.

Blizzard Mountain brings with it eight new vehicles for players to take to the track.

The following seven are the currently known vehicles that will come with the DLC:

  • 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
  • 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
  • 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck
  • 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
  • 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
  • 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
  • 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car

According to Xbox Wire, the last vehicle is a hidden Barn Find vehicle.

In addition to the new vehicles, players will also be able to use their current vehicles and upgrade them to snow variants.

Finally, the upcoming DLC will have 28 new achievements for our resident achievement hunters that total up to 500 Gamerscore points.

The new expansion will arrive on December 13.

Expansion pass owners will receive the game for free. Those that purchased Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition will get a $10 discount for the DLC pack.
