The Voice 2016 is almost over but the drama of its judges still continue on. Long-time The Voice judge, Blake Shelton is dealing with quite a lot in his personal life. Reports are claiming a rocky relationship with his next season, co-judge and current girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
The two has always been subject to media rumors and speculations of marriage, divorce, pregnancy or infidelity. In addition, their very public relationship has been scrutinized by fans of both and anti-fans.
The Voice 2016 Judge’s Predicament
Recently, his ex-wife Miranda Lambert released an album called The Weight of These Wings. This album was created after their divorce and Shelton fears that the contents might be about their relationship and break-up.
According to In Touch Weekly, the singer does not want his girlfriend to be listening to the album. Despite his efforts, sources are saying that it still affected Stefani greatly.
The 47-year old singer was reportedly so upset about the new album that she has stopped with planning their wedding. No reports have been made of the two breaking up because of it yet. But will this mean that the wedding, which is said to take place in Shelton’s country home be cancelled?
An insider close to Stefani told the publication, “With Miranda’s album making news like this, it’s a constant reminder of Blake’s past with another woman – and how she’s just on an entirely different level than Gwen.”
Miranda Lambert’s New Album
The country singer’s new album is widely praised and clad with positive reviews. It talks about breaking up, new friendships, drinking and moving on. It also reveals why the relationship between The Voice 2016 judge and Lambert fell apart.
Stefani is reportedly addicted to listening to the album which makes it more difficult for Shelton to prevent her from doing so. Despite living in her Beverly Hills house, the country artist seems to be having a difficult time controlling her.
Lambert, however still refuses to take interviews regarding both her new album and her divorce. She wants the music to speak for itself.
