The scheduled release of Iggy Azalea New Album Digital Distortion remains uncertain. Earlier reports set album release in January 2017.
But Azalea did not mention her second album during her recent appearance at the GQ Awards 2016 in Australia. She received the GQ Woman of the Year Award. At the event, she says she has “the best vagina in the world.”
Digital Distortion was first scheduled for release in June 2016. However, the release of Iggy Azalea New Album did not push through due to her breakup with NBA player Nick Young, Daily Star reported.
Azalea, 26, and Young, 31, started their relationship in November 2013. They became engaged on June 2015 over a year after they started dating.
Azalea-Young Breakup Delays Release of Album
The singer called off their engagement over Young’s infidelities. In a leaked video, Young confessed to Los Angeles Lakers teammate D’ Angelo Russell that he had cheated on Azalea. Later, news revealed that Young got his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green pregnant.
“It’s no secret, I kind of had my personal life fall apart,” Azalea told People Magazine.
“I needed a lot of time,” she adds. “I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiancé is having a baby with someone else. You’re going to need some time, right?”
Azalea Changes Material in Digital Distortion After Split
The Australian rapper explains she wants to rework all the materials on the album. She was about to get married when she wrote the songs. According to reports, she will exclude a song about her former boyfriend.
Azalea said, “Okay, I’m single now. I want to have sexy songs. I want to say stuff about being single.”
Ty Dolla Sign’s team D.R.U.G.S. produced the Iggy Azalea New Album. On the other hand, Def Jam Recordings will distribute the album. The track list includes Azillion, Calm Down, Elephant (featuring YG), Middle Man, Someone Like U, Iggy Alert, Three Day Weekend, 7 Teen, and Teen.
