It may be about time for Nintendo’s plumber to arrive in mobile phones. It seems Super Mario Run Android will be hitting markets soon.
Nintendo fans are in for a treat as one of the most awaited Mario games may finally arrive in phones. Super Mario Run was first teased to be available on the Nintendo 3DS. According to its website, it will not have the same mystery mushrooms or amiibo costumes unlike in its Wii counterpart.
Super Mario Run Android appears to be a possibility, according to iTechPost. Rumors say the game will be released for Apple users next month while its Android counterpart arrives early next year.
The game will also offer microtransactions for players. However, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto promised there will be no prior fees after paying the game’s initial price.
Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima said the game will be a huge hit. It can be remembered Pokemon Go is the last mobile title from Nintendo that was met with critical reception. A free demo of the game will be available for users, but the full experience will be much more fulfilling.
Super Mario Run Android: The Princess is in Another Phone?
Super Mario Run has been deleted from the list of amiibo-supported games on Nintendo’s website. However, players can still play the game and enjoy its 100-built in custom levels. Sadly, these are the only information known about the game so far.
Regardless, the news for a mobile version was confirmed by the Unity game engine Twitter account.

Of course, this may confirm Unity’s development in generating the game. Sadly, no further downloads, or as much as a demo, is available for mobile platforms.
The game is also the most recent iteration of the hit Mario franchise. By the time the game hits mobile platforms, this means Nintendo has a good shot of hitting the spotlight once more.
