Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies DLC Gameplay: Download Zombies in Spaceland!

While FPS fans are busy freeing up space for Infinite Warfare’s rather large game, it’s time to battle zombies in space! Call of Duty Infinite Warfare Zombies offers yet another crazy iteration of its popular zombies mini-game.

Luckily, curious fans will be able to see the action firsthand after a 30-minute live stream event courtesy of GamersPrey HD. Staff from Infinity Ward also chimed in and explained a few details about the game.

According to the live stream, the mini-game DLC follows the same format as the other popular zombies games from Call of Duty. Players are tasked to survive for as long as they could against wave upon wave of zombies.

However this time, it appears the zombies are in a theme park, and players are all horror movie tropes.

The game tasks players on becoming stereotypical horror movie characters. There’s the Jock, the Nerd, the Female Lead, and the Black Guy. They all personify common tropes in horror flicks. For instance, the Jock always dies violently because of his rash pride. The Nerd more or less gets to survive the longest but dies because of over-preparedness. For some reason, the Black Guy always dies first. And finally, the Female Lead tends to be the final survivor.

The game is set on an amusement park called Spaceland, where the protagonists are wanna-be celebrities auditioning for roles. Unbeknownst to them, the movie is already filming, and the zombies are real.

Staff from Infinity Ward explained that the game’s new ATM system means items and cash earned while playing zombies stays with you even if you die. This is a well-requested feature, given that some items are hard to find within the game.

The new afterlife feature also means characters who died can interact with the game world in different ways before they respawn.

The game mode often becomes one of the most popular features of every Call of Duty title. A lot of players spend time trying to find Easter Eggs within the game. It’s exciting to see what sorts of surprises Infinity Ward has in store this time.

Players who have pre-ordered the game’s Legacy or the Digital Deluxe Edition may also be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is set for a November 4 release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
