Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX

Kingdom Hearts FINAL MIX is a reissue of the first game that contains new weapons, enemies, abilities, and other extras. It originally released exclusively in Japan for the PS2 in 2002. It then released internationally as a part of the 1.5 ReMIX collection.

Re: Chain of Memories is a full remake of the GBA exclusive, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It released for PS2 in Japan and North America in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Unlike other games in the series, game play in Chain of Memories followed a card-based structure that controlled how the player attacked and performed actions in the field.

358/2 Days first released for the Nintendo DS in 2009 and focuses on the story of Roxas and takes place between the end of the original Kingdom Hearts and the start of Kingdom Hearts II. According to the YouTube description of the announcement video, the version in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will also include updated HD cinematics.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX

Kingdom Hearts II FINAL MIX is a reissue of the second game in the franchise and released exclusively in Japan for the PS2 in 2007. Similar to the original FINAL MIX, this reissue came with several new features not present in the original game including graphical updates, new cutscenes, new abilities, and new boss fights as well.

Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX is a reissue of the PSP exclusive Birth by Sleep and released exclusively in Japan in 2011. Following the trend of the other FINAL MIX titles, this reissue included several graphical and game play updates and changes. The game tells the story of Terra, Aqua, and Ventus as they train to become Keyblade Masters and is a prequel to the franchise.

Finally, Re:coded is a full remake of the mobile game Kingdom Hearts coded. It originally released for the Nintendo DS in 2011 and takes place after the finale of Kingdom Hearts II. It follows a digitized version of Sora as he attempts to solve the mystery of a message in Jiminy Cricket’s journal.
