Xbox Free Games with Gold November 2016: Battlefield 3, Resident Evil 5 & More

By on

With the Holidays just around the corner, what surprises does gaming have in store for us? If you like Xbox free games with Gold, then we got you covered.

Fans of the Microsoft console know there are monthly Xbox free games with Gold for subscribers. Of course, save for the ones we really save money for, free games are always fun.

However, just like how monthly releases work, Xbox isn’t giving any signs about its free selections. Given that October had four new titles and seven backward-compatible games, Xbox is bound to give more right before the holidays.

For a quick rundown, some of the best selections of October’s list include:

  • Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings
  • The Escapists
  • MX vs. ATV Reflex
  • Jurassic Park: The Game
  • Battlestations: Midway
  • Tour de France 2011
  • Dragon’s Lair
  • Silent Hill: Downpour
  • Eat Lead
  • Puzzle Quest

Unfortunately, since these are only available for free download every month, the games are bound to go anytime soon. This means old games are ushering in an era for new free games.

Game N Guide suggests numerous games rumored to be released for November’s lineup. And if the Final Fantasy 15 hype were to be supported, then King’s Quest should definitely be part of the list.

The King’s Quest is an old game from Square Enix that is now being referenced in Final Fantasy 15. Since in-game characters are known to play the game, maybe this will be part of the offering for Xbox free games with Gold November 2016.

But there are other action-packed games as well.

Zombies, Cowboys, Hackers and the Great War

That’s right. According to another Game N Guide report, it seems Resident Evil and Battlefield may have free games in store for us. This is, of course, assuming they will ride their new games’ hype train.

Resident Evil is just about to arrive with a new iteration of its hit franchise. Resident Evil 7 will pin players down inside a creepy mansion. The game will put a new twist to survival horror with an availability of numerous weapons – with no enemy yet to fight.

Resident Evil 5 or may be a free game to hit Xbox Games with Gold November 2016. These are the last two games in the franchise to emphasize the games’ action mechanic and something their newest game would like to divert from.

Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 collects a selection of fictionalized war stories about the Great War. Its good reception and great multiplayer options is a risk paid off by its creators. Regardless, for veterans who want to see older Battlefield action, options like Battlefield: Hardline and Battlefield 4 may be released.

This also applies to Watch Dogs, given that Watch Dogs 2 is getting close to its release date. The first game introduced a revolutionary concept to gaming. Watch Dogs and its appeal to use the environment to trick opponents is something we’ve always wanted to see. Given its intense narrative on privacy and hacking, Watch Dogs can be a good addition to the list.

Finally, with the Red Dead Redemption 2 hype finally starting, it may be time for players to sit back and play Red Dead Redemption – just to get a hang of the action.

Of course, given that there’s no final list yet for Xbox free games with Gold, then it seems the best thing to do is to wait.
