The Voice 2016 is all about Country music this year. Apart from the addition of Miley Cyrus as judge, whose background is quite Country and long-time judge Blake Shelton, one of the Country’s favorite Country Singers another well-know Country singer (or singers) will be joining the season.
And no, the rumors are not true that Blake Shelton’s ex, Miranda Lambert will be adding to the bunch.
However, it is confirmed that the popular Country-singer couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be joining the season as key advisers. The couple will work with all four judges Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Blake and Miley in mentoring their teams and preparing them for the knockout rounds.

The duo is excited for the opportunity and believes that their experience on the road and in performing will help the contestants. Faith also shares that she believes that connecting with the audience is very important.
“I think having the perspective of performing live in many different venues, from clubs to stadiums, will help us in working with The Voice artists this season, it’s important that they be able to connect with their audience.” Faith shares in a press conference.
Her husband added that he “[I] really like to dig into songs and how they need to be presented in a live environment. I’m looking forward to working with the coaches to help the artists reach their potential.”

But is too much Country music for The Voice 2016 a good thing? Will Country singer and judge since season 1, Blake and the duo clash when in comes to mentoring his team?
Since the three artists are seasoned in their genre, there might be some areas that they would not agree on. Despite the said singers being Country, there definitely is a difference in their styles. Blake, who has won four out of ten seasons, also has a certain way with his team and that might also brew some conflict between him and the duo.
However, Blake does not seem to be worried and has not said anything about the addition of the superstar couple in the show. His focus seems to be the knockouts, getting Beth Midler on his team as mentor.

The other judges’ mentors include Charlie Puth for team Alicia, Joan Jett for team Miley and Sammy Hagar for team Adam.
The Voice Season 11 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
