Humble Bundle Celebrates Sonic’s 25th Anniversary With Quite the Bundle

Do you like Sonic games? Well then, does Humble Bundle have the bundle for you, all to celebrate Sonic’s 25th anniversary.

The only real caveat is that each tier has its own Steam key; there’s no separate key for each game. So there’s nothing here to give to a friend unless you want to relinquish an entire tier. Three of the games are also simply addons for the SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics, so upon entering the key, it’ll download the collection and activate the Sonic games.

As for the tiers, they’re as follows: for a $1: Sonic the Hedgehog (addon), Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic 3D Blast (addon), and Sonic CD.

The basic tier is pretty light, but the first game and CD are both considered great. So it’s worth it for a mere buck.

For beating the current average of $9.16, which is nearly the cost of the $10 tier: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (addon), Sonic Adventure 2 + Battle DLC, and more games coming soon.

Then for a flat $10: Sonic Lost World, Sonic Generations + Casino Nights DLC, Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 2, and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed + Metal Sonic & Outrun and Ryo Hazuki DLC.

Sonic Generations and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is worth it enough for $10, and the rest of the games you get are merely gravy. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is widely believed to be one of the best kart racers out there. So there’s that. Too bad Lost World (the most expensive game in the bundle) is average at best.

Still though, great value for $10.

And if you love sonic even more, you can spend $35 and get a shirt, too!
