Fallout 4’s First Addon, Automatron, Arrives March 22

The first of what is likely to be many DLC Addons for Fallout 4, Automatron, arrives next week on March 22 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

For a mere $9.99 (£7.99) you can build robots from scratch, customizing their limbs and torsos, and even their voices. Stick some weapons on them, maybe a few abilities, and send them off to help fight off the Mechanist’s horde of evil robots. For anyone who bought the Fallout 4 season pass, be it at the original $29.99 or the new $49.99, Automatron will be included, and will likely show up magically in your DLC when it launches.

Automatron will be followed by Wasteland Workshop sometime in April, and the big ‘un, Far Harbot, will arrive in May. That’s only the first three addons, too. Expect more to follow as the year progresses. You musn’t forget about Fallout 4, Bethesda deems it so. No word yet on the Creation Kit, but imagine all the ridiculous robot possibilities once modders get their hands on Automatron.

The addon is intended for characters level 15 or higher, but if you wanna run in there at level 1 and prove to the world what a badass you are, by all means, be my guest.

Below is a nifty trailer.
