Ubisoft has announced that The Division beta will start on the 28th of January on Xbox One and will be coming to the PS4 and PC on the 29th January 2016. The Division beta will then run until until the 31st of January. Following on closely from The Division Alpha players who have pre-ordered the game will have a short period of time to play the The Division Beta. Other players won’t have all too long to wait with the eagerly awaited Tom Clancy open world, online, RPG, shooter (Will it master all of that?) releasing worldwide on the 8th March 2016. If you don’t want to pre-order then there is also an option to register your interest on The Division’s website to enter the waiting list, however, only a few will be selected.
Mikel Reparaz, the editor of The Division, stated on Ubisoft’s blog that the game will start at Manhattan’s Chelsea Pier where the players are introduced to story-driven missions that will “…establish your foothold in New York.” Players will team up with other agents for loot and there will also be a PvP match called Dark Zone.

In other news we’ve picked up some other juicy nuggets of information about the The Division Magnus Jensen of Massive Entertainment revealed about the level cap during an interview with VG247. He noted that once the players reach level cap of 30, there will be changes in the content in Dark Zone, letting players gather better gear, equipment and loot.
“One of the cool things we do is that once you hit the max level – level 30 – suddenly the whole Dark Zone repopulates with all-new content and challenges suitable to that level,”
