The Number One Christmas Game

The Number One Christmas Game race is over (well as far as the stats go and in the UK). Sure there could be a huge run a game in the next few days, but it won’t count ūüôā This year the race for the Number One Christmas Game had some usual contenders, namely anything with Call of Duty in its title, but has some big players that went across the genres and the age ranges. First up there is the Minecraft: Story Mode coming in at number 5. A good respectable finished from those blocky little tykes. In at number 4 is Fallout 4. The eagerly awaited Fallout 4 has been praised by some and slated by others. Fifa 16 comes in at number 3, another usual suspect. Fifa will always be in there. New players, updated stats, slightly worse gameplay and some tricks. Bring back PES as a the contender…..we fear its too late for them.

Now onto second. A fine play by Lucas and EA bringing out the Battlefield…..I mean Star Wars: Battlefront game just weeks before Christmas and placed nicely to take advantage of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The game appeals across the board and ages and was this weeks top seller, however it was not enough to stop Call of Duty : Black Ops 3 making it to¬†Number One Christmas game. A feat the COD series has now accomplished for the last six years straight.
