One of the games featured at this year’s Gamescom is the fourth major installment of the Killzone series, Killzone: Shadow Fall. The game’s multiplayer was first unveiled to
trade-visitors and the media yesterday, with the general public having access to the game today.
Killzone’s news blog also recently posted a news article and an official gameplay trailer featuring the highlights of Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer.
The article states that,
Just like in the single player campaign, Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer gives you the freedom to play the game exactly how you want. Using the new customizable Warzone features demonstrated in the trailer, you can pick the number of players (4-24), rules, mission modes, classes, abilities and weapons you want to allow in a match, then save these choices as a preset to share with the rest of the Shadow Fall community.
Furthermore, the article proclaims that Killzone: Shadow Fall will feature eight rotating mission modes, four of which are new to Killzone, three unique class types, 22 different weapons, a unique multiplayer progression system, and future DLC free of charge. It also states that the game will have its own community team that will highlight popular game presets and create even more ways to play in the future.
Overall, Killzone: Shadow Fall seems like a stunning new PS4 exclusive and is definitely a next-gen FPS to look out for. The game is scheduled for a PlayStation 4 exclusive release on November 15th, 2013.
