Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD will Support Save Transfer on PS3 & Vita

Square Enix is currently planning to release an HD remastering of Final Fantasy X and X-2 for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita later this year. Although we have not yet received an official release date for this title, at the recent Japan Expo 2013, Square Enix announced a welcoming additional functionality for Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster.

It has now been confirmed that players will have the ability to transfer their saved games from one platform to the other with Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD on the PS3 and PS Vita. It has been announced that this functionality will be seamlessly integrated within each title, allowing players to transfer save data from one device to the other without worrying about any outside factors.

Hopefully, we will soon have an idea of when to expect Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD to actually release on the PS3 and PS Vita.

  1. ok, has square really lost its way? VsXIII is becoming XV and now ‘remastering of X and X-2, two of the biggest disliked games in the series. It’s getting so that I am really thinking of dropping Final Fantasy completely.
