Metal Gear Solid 5 was Project Ogre all along, Kojima confirms

With details around Metal Gear Solid 5 finally becoming clear, it has now been confirmed that Project Ogre was actually Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain all along.

This was confirmed through a report by VideoGamer, as Kojima has come forward to explain that “at the time I could not even talk about the fifth episode Metal Gear, that’s why I called [it] ‘Project Ogre. This name was chosen to leave clues about what will happen in the game because it is a kind of ‘ogres’ in the game.”

This news probably does not come as a surprise at all since the finding of Project Ogre was thought to be Metal Gear Solid 5 anyways. But, I guess we now finally have an official confirmation.
