PS4 Release Date May Have Been Leaked By New Promotional Poster

Although Sony has announced the official price at which their next-generation console will launch, which will be at $399, we have not yet received a concrete date at which this system will launch. Officially, all we have been given is that the system will launch sometime during the holiday season of 2013.

Outside of official information, a few possible release dates have been leaking from various sources as of late. Just recently, a newspaper ad was spotted that revealed a possible release date for the PS4 on November 21. Streaming from this, IGN is now reporting on an image of an advertisement that was spotted in a Media Markt store located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Below, you can view the referenced image, as provided by a member of the NeoGAF forum, Cyborg.

Readers should also take into consideration that Media Markt is a very large electronics oriented chain in Europe. Sony has since commented on this report by providing the following statement:

“No further announcements/comments to make at this time. PlayStation 4 is launching this holiday season.”
