“Black Ops 2” players that have been waiting for the prime opportunity to gain experience points for their multiplayer profiles should be excited to know that Treyarch will be facilitating a double XP weekend starting today for this title. This event will take place on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of “Black Ops 2,” as this will allow players to acquire double the amount of experience points within the competitive multiplayer portion of this title.

As previously announced, fans can also expect Nuketown 2025 to become available as an individual playlist for the duration of this event. As you may know, Activision stated that Nuketown 2025 24/7 would return as a multiplayer playlist for special events. It is to be expected that this playlist will complement this double XP weekend.

Additionally, the PC version of ”Black Ops 2” has also received a massive patch that affects the single player, multiplayer, and zombie modes for the game. As for the multiplayer portion of the game, this title update will implement a variety of optimizations that will provide a more balanced experience for players competing in multiplayer matches.
