The latest NBA Rumors hint at several high profile deals on the horizon. DeMarcus Cousins may be snapped up by the Los Angeles Lakers. Also, Brandon Knight may go the Cleveland Cavaliers. Rudy Gay may also be bought by the Sacramento Kings.
NBA Rumors are hinting at Russell Westbrook leaving OKC and Rudy Gay being sold by the Kings. Yibada reports that OKC will want to snap up Gay for his sheer potential. Gay will be a good fit for this upgrade.
The Oklahoma City Thunder is already interested in acquiring Rudy Gay as per NBA Rumors. Gay has good stats of 21.3 points as an average along with 47% shooting. Gay could well be the game changer that OKC badly needs. Westbrook, on the other hand, may look to land at the Golden State Warriors.
Will the NBA Rumors Materialize?
However, there are no confirmations on Westbrook leaving OKC as of yet. HNGN also reports that there may be a big trade involving the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Lakers. Orlando Magic may also get into this deal. The trade pieces may well be Rudy Gay, DeMarcus Cousins and Serge Ibaka.
Gay has already announced that he will leave the Kings after this season. Cousins could also leave in case the team fails to improve its showing. OKC traded Ibaka to Orlando Magic during the offseason itself. However, he has not quite got along with the head coach Frank Vogel at the Orlando Magic.
He may also be traded to get a better player in his position as per NBA Rumors. The three teams may well be in talks for a possible deal. The LA Lakers may snap up DeMarcus Cousins from the Kings. They may also get Aaron Gordon from the Magic.
The Magic will get Rudy Gay from the Kings and Jordan Clarkson from the Lakers. The Kings will get a first round draft pick and Julius Randle from the Lakers. They will also get Serge Ibaka from the Orlando Magic.
There are other rumors of Brandon Knight being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers by the Suns. Knight could be a good backup point guard for Kyrie Irving at the Cleveland Cavs. The Suns could also get Iman Shumpert and Chris Andersen in exchange.
