Anyone in the mood for a real-time survival game? ARK Survival Evolved finally gets a PS4 release this week! What should fans expect?
It seems the hit survival game will finally meet the hands of loving fans that have the PlayStation 4. It was just announced that the game will finally have a Western release this December.
Not only that, it appears the game will be released – and quite soon. Fans can expect to be able to get the game as early as December 6 for the PlayStation 4.
This is after the news that the game’s spin-off ARK: Survival of the Fittest was put on hold for the PlayStation 4 until the main game is released. Now it appears the whole game will be released on December 6, with its Survival Pack costing $55.
The Survival Pack has the first game and the expansion, Scorched Earth. Europe will meet copies of the base game and the expansion game, separately, but North America won’t have them until Spring 2017.
ARK Survival Evolved: Survival in an Unknown World
The game puts players in a hostile environment where they have to pillage for assortments of weapons and armors. They will encounter hostile and friendly NPCs, players, and creatures of various shapes and sizes.
Interestingly, the game’s PS4 release will have “previously release content” and “PS4-exclusive” content. Extras include the Bionic Giganotosaurus skin and the Manticore set for both sexes. Players should also look forward to more updates including more weapons, armors and dinosaurs.
Interestingly, there will be “lifestyle improvements” as well, hinting perhaps on settlement upgrades and other features.
The PlayStation 4 release would mean an upcoming release for the PC as well. The game’s supposed release this year was halted and no news about it was released yet.
Regardless, with all platforms able to play the game, there may be some conflict towards the mechanics and gameplay on all versions. Still, this does not mean the game will merit an early access feature from Sony.
