What if you could play soccer – but with cars? Rocket League Game of the Year Edition makes the already-gripping action game twice the fun.
It appears the newest edition of the game will have the full game and all of its DLC. Interestingly, the package you get differs depending on the console you are using.
The Game of the Year Edition is proof that the once-crazy concept of Rocket League was enough to capture fans. After all, it’s one of the craziest iterations of sports games the world over. In fact, Overwatch‘s Olympic-based mode Lucioball may very well be in fact based on this game.
Both the PC and the PS4 versions of the game have the Supersonic Fury, Chaos Run and Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC pack.
Meanwhile, the PS4 version will get a ton more features. Aside from an exclusive theme, they will also get Shield Logo, RLCS, Ball and Octane avatars.
Rocket League Game of the Year Edition s available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. No one knows if an Xbox One iteration will be coming soon. Players can purchase the new edition for $25.
Rocket League Game of the Year Edition: More Laps, More Laughs
Rocketeers will appreciate the arrival of the new and improved game by the time its upcoming update launches. As if to commemorate the occasion, Rocket League finally launches an update with a custom training mode.
Players will remember one or more occasions when they had to constantly wait through queues in order to practice trick moves. Despite the easy nature of the game, the insane velocity and speed of cars and matches make it a bit hard to master.
However, the update now allows training scenarios for players to enjoy. Custom training allows them to put the ball wherever they need, or have a guiding line for shots.
