Conor McGregor Taking At Least Six Months Off

UFC President, Dana White dismissed claims of a Conor McGregor fight happening this year or early next year. “He won’t fight before May,” confirms Dana White to the public.

Immediate speculation would be that the two-weight world champion is coming home to Ireland to train against a big fight. However, this rumor has been dismissed by Conor McGregor himself.

The real reason he will be resting for at least six months is to prepare for the birth of his child with long-time girlfriend Dee Devlin. Dana White adds that “his girl gets super stressed out when he fights. He doesn’t want her having any of that stress while she’s pregnant.”

The dad-to-be also shares that he wants to prepare for his child and is quite daunted by it. He even said that he does not know what to do and is “crapping me jocks.”
