Nintendo Switch Release Date to be Revealed in January? List of New Games to Arrive With it

The Nintendo Switch release date has sparked huge excitement amongst fans. The Nintendo Switch gaming console is expected to release on the 17th of March, 2017. Nintendo will also be revealing further details about the console in January 2017.

The Nintendo Switch release date has almost been confirmed though official announcements will be made in January. Express has also reported that the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim may also launch with the console. Several experts are already praising the Nintendo Switch as one of the best gaming consoles ever to be made.

The Nintendo Switch release date, price and game lineup are things that fans are eagerly waiting to find out. It is expected that there will be more clarity on these aspects in January 2017. The cheapest Nintendo Switch is expected to be priced below £200 as per sources. There will be another bundle with better storage capacity. This is expected to be priced around £249.99 as per recent reports.

However, several retailers have not received any official price listings from Nintendo yet. In fact, Pokemon Sun and Moon may also release for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.

The game is already being developed and codenamed Pokemon Stars. Sources have confirmed that the Pokemon Bank app will help in trading Pokemon between the Sun/Moon and the Stars.

Other Important Speculations

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may also launch with the Nintendo Switch. However, the launch may be delayed as sources speculate on the game going through a slow developmental pace. GameSpot reports that the Nintendo Switch has come in for huge praise from its own CEO Paul Raines and Skyrim director Todd Howard alike.

Raines has called it a “game-changer that will expand the audience for gaming”. Howard has earlier talked of being “blown away” by the demo. Even Yves Guillemot, the Ubisoft CEO, has stated that the console can “redefine” the gaming industry.
