The whole night of the AMA 2016 is full of Donald Trump jokes. Since the shocking presidential election results, Donald Trump has been a favorite joke in events and shows. And the American Music Awards is not an exception.
Hosts Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah did an impersonation of president-elect Donald Trump and wife Melania Trump. With pouty lips, she mocked the incoming first lady failed RNC speech.
“I love my husband, President Barack Obama, and our children, Sasha and Malia,” Hadid bantered. The joke is referenced from Melania’s speech that is said to be lifted from Michelle Obama’s speech.
Trump supporters took to social media their criticism on what they describe as a ‘disgraceful and disrespectful act of bullying.’
The Saturday Night Live comedian, as Donald Trump said, “I love Bruno Mars. I don’t know what color he is, so I can’t deport him.”
Presenters and Performers Take Aim at Donald Trump During AMA 2016
Idina Menzel and Mark Cuban take aim at the real estate mogul when they presented an award. They told the audience that they weren’t invited to the presidential inauguration because they are known supporters of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Menzel also showed her support the cast of the broadway show Hamilton. The cast was criticized by Trump after a statement from the show is thrown at Vice President Mike Pence.

Aside from Menzel and Cuban, rock band Green Day also made an anti-Trump move at the AMA 2016. The band performs their Bang Bang song when lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong sung a new chorus, “no KKK, no fascist USA, no Trump.’’
