It appears the WWE 2016 Survivor Series is out to surprise fans. A massive spear from Roman Reigns subdued Smackdown LIVE’s general manager.
The entire debacle started when Shane McMahon tried to make a coast-to-coast dropkick from the top turnbuckle. The counter spear caught Shane high and had his head bounce off the mat.
Family, friends and fans were stunned to see that the champ did not rise after the attempted three count. Paramedics around the scene came when Shane appeared to be unconscious for the rest of the match.
According to Comicbook, the injury appeared to be so intense that competitor Randy Orton came to console Shane McMahon’s wife and son immediately after the match.
I’m a father. I know what it’s like to have your kids ringside when shit goes sideways… https://t.co/9rtaCp48sJ

Shane McMahon had such a wonderful streak before the injury. An elbow drop from the top rope took Braun Strowman, who was on the German announce table.
Fans are alarmed to hear just what had happened to the Wrestling icon. However, it appears we may have to wait for actual updates.
WWE 2016: McMahon Unfit for Survivor Series Matchup?
Shane McMahon was part of the 5-on-5 traditional elimination match, along with Team SmackDown Live’s AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. They faced against Team Raw, composed of Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.
The four-time heavyweight champion Randy Orton took fans by storm after consoling the McMahon family, being a father himself.
This year’s Survivor Series was the first to take place in Canada after the 1997 Montreal Screwjob. It was also the first to be at least four hours in length. The iconic and much-awaited Lesnar and Goldberg match took place in this arena, but it appears Shane McMahon took the limelight.
However, the question remains, will Shane McMahon continue on with the Survivor Series or take a break? WWE still hasn’t provided any answers to the matter.
