Fans of Dark Souls are already enjoying the third game’s Ashes of Ariandel DLC. However, it appears another Dark Souls 3 Update is on the horizon.
Gamers will remember that the much-awaited DLC has arrived with its own set of bugs. This is despite the massive amount of new areas to explore, enemies to kill and gear to collect. The already-difficult game has become insufferable due to the bugs that plagued gameplay.
However, From Software has revealed that a new patch may finally fix the massive bugs in the game. This will be helpful for players as much of the bugs actually range from simple glitches to impeding their progress.
According to the Dark Souls 3 subreddit, the Regulation 1.09 changes offer massive changes to weapons as well. The subreddit offers a variety of statistics regarding the duration of weapons and spells, as well as their overall damage.
For instance, daggers have received boosts to their Critical damages. The Dark Sword met a little nerf, and the Demon Fists got a decrease in weight. Interestingly, the Weapon Arts of many curved swords and twin blades have been nerfed for stealth. So players who like the dual-wielding blades better reassess their strategies.

Attack of the Fanboy also has a complete list of issues and glitches fixed by the new patch. It appears bosses and other NPCs finally spawn the way they should and will not impede the progress of players.
This is good news as the very essence of Dark Souls 3 relies on surviving immense boss battles and progressing its rather rich story. Interestingly, other Easter Eggs appear to be fixed as well.
Dark Souls 3 is an action RPG developed by From Software. Its critical and commercial acclaim said it’s a “fitting conclusion” to the game’s story. The game follows the standard formula of the player defeating the various Lords of Cinder in the aim to link the fire of the First Flame.
The DLC Ashes of Ariandel served to provide the proper conclusion to the game. Dark Souls 3 is available for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
