After Taylor Swift, it looks like Kanye West has new targets in the powerhouse couple Beyonce and Jay-Z. The rapper even cuts short his Sacramento concert in order to vent out his frustration about the two celebrities.
Kanye West has always been known to be angry– for one reason or another. In fact, he has been branded as someone who has been relentlessly bashing pop singer Taylor Swift. He’s done it in a number of performances.
While it would be expected that one or two enemies will be enough for the rapper to publicly diss, Kanye West adds Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z on his listm. And despite his fans being okay with his endless Taylor Swift rants, this time audience are angry with him. Some are even demanding a refund.
According to The Fader, Kanye West’ speech lasted a good 15 minutes, ended it with a mic drop and an exit. He ended the show in 30 minutes with half of it involving his rants about Beyonce, Jay-Z, Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama and even Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
Kanye West Versus The World
He started his rants by stopping the background music for his song Famous. He then said, “A lot of people here tonight felt like they lost. You know why? Because y’all been lied to. Google lied to you. Facebook lied to you. Radio lied to you.” He added, “I’m on my Trump shit tonight. Radio, fuck you. Yeah, I’m taking his lead. I’mma just say how I say, be ‘Ye, and win. I’mma take his lead. Radio, fuck you! Radio, fuck you!”
He then proceeded with MTV, saying “MTV, fuck you! Once again, as always. I’m on my Trump shit tonight. Let me tell you what it is, bruh. Aye, you know me. I went down seven years of my life of motherfuckers hating me for saying Beyoncé had the best video.”
Then he revealed that MTV has set up that Beyonce’s music video for Formation was chosen instead of his. He even asked Jay-Z not to send killers for him.
“Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me.”
“Aye, bruh [Jay-Z], I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Just call me. Talk to me like a man.”
Kanye West also touched on some political themes which included Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
“Obama couldn’t make America great because he couldn’t be him to be who he was. Black men have been slaves.”
“It’s a new world, Hillary Clinton, it’s a new world. Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt.”
Most surprisingly was when he included Mark Zuckerberg in his speech.
“Mark Zuckerberg, you wanna call me now? Do I got the vision, Mark Zuckerberg? Was you wrong? When I said I was $53 million in debt and you didn’t call me, was you wrong?”
