US election polls 2016 suggest a close fight between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Despite the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate still leading, rumors suggest that the recent attempted attack on Trump was plotted by Clinton’s campaign.
The Republican candidate is usually a character whom you either love or hate. While some are avid Trump believers, the nominee is also very much disliked by others. That is why, it is not surprising when the mega-entrepreneur had his second assassination attempt recently. While still a candidate.
Donald Trump Shot Dead in Reno?
Trump was rushed off-stage by secret service during a rally in Reno, Nevada on Saturday. It was due to a threat that a man with a gun was rushing to assassinate the presidential hopeful.
The GOP candidate was not harmed in any way because of the swift response of the secret service. According to sources, an unidentified person shouted that there was a man with a gun and the crowd has echoed him prompting the secret service to escort the candidate out.
The alleged gunner was caught and detained but no weapon was found in the suspect. No charges were made against the man who identified himself as Austyn Crites.
Crites claims to be unjustly attacked while holding a banner “Republicans Against Trump.” He recounts his version of the story saying, “All of a sudden, because they couldn’t grab the sign, or whatever happened, bam, I get tackled by all these people who were just, like, kicking me and grabbing me in the crotch and just, just beating the crap out of me,” according to KTNV.
Hillary Clinton Blamed For Trump “Assassination Attempt” Due to Election Polls?
While Trump is safe and sound, some are blaming the Democratic party’s candidate for the initially perceived attempted assassination of Trump.
Despite having motive for the crime, Clinton has had no link to the Crites Reno incident. And while some might say that election polls inching closer and closer to Trump’s favor is driving the candidate mad, it is evident that Clinton’s camp is still doing better.
In addition to that, Crites himself says that he is not involved in any ways with the Clinton campaign.
