Steph Curry has just played one of the most landmark games of his career. According to CSN, Curry had an amazing 3 point shot against the New Orleans Pelicans. Curry had 13 triples in the 116-106 victory which is a major record.
Why Curry Was Amazing
Steph Curry has had a long streak of 157 games with at least one 3 pointer from him. On Monday night, the Oracle Arena witnessed him at his veritable best. He has now broken the single game record of 12 which was earlier held by Donyell Marshall and Kobe Bryant. The record was equaled by Curry himself earlier.
A good pass from Draymond Green served as the perfect foil for the record breaker. There were two minutes and twenty three seconds remaining in the game at that juncture. This scaled up Curry’s total points tally to 46.
Fox Sports has reported that Curry had everything going for him in the first half of the game. The Pelicans were left stranded as Curry churned out 23 points from 12 shots. He did this while playing 17 minutes out of the first 24 minutes of the game.
This goes to show how perfect Steph Curry actually was! He split two Pelicans defenders on a single drive and then pulled up for a 3 pointer. This was off-balance and still went through the net. This goes to show how luck and ability are both favoring Curry at this point.
