The Voice 2016: Did Blake Shelton Skip CMA Awards 2016 Because of Miranda Lambert?

A report online says that the reason behind Blake Shelton’s no-show during the (Country Music Association) CMA Awards is to avoid Miranda Lambert. The report further explains that Shelton lost in a dramatic showdown with his ex-wife at the (Academy of Country Music) ACM Awards last April.

“Blake Shelton Skips CMA’s As Miranda Lambert Hits Him With One-Two Punch!”, says the Ok! article.

“Miranda’s ex-husband Blake Shelton completely skipped the awards show after their dramatic showdown at the ACM Awards back in the spring! But avoiding the site of Anderson cozying up to the woman he loved is not the only reason that Blake may have sat these awards out.”, the article further says.

“According to reports, Miranda has recently listed for sale the home that she used to share with Blake,” says the tabloid.

People are wondering if the report holds any truth on the matter. But Gossip Cop immediately gives clarity to the rumor. Gossip Cop busted the article written by Ok!. In its own article, it clarifies that Miranda Lambert has nothing to do with Blake Shelton’s absence.

“The real reason Shelton skipped the CMAs this year is that he wasn’t nominated for any awards, and therefore had no need to go,” Gossip Cop explains.

They also question Ok!’s statement about Miranda’s selling of their home. They said that it has nothing to do with Blake’s absence at the CMA Awards.

Gossip Cop also clarifies that the ex-lovers did not have a ‘dramatic showdown’ at the ACM’s.  “And by the way, the former couple didn’t have a “dramatic showdown” at April’s ACMs, either. They actually didn’t cross paths, ” the rumor-busting publication says.

Gossip Cop came to the conclusion that Ok! has ridden on speculations and sensationalism rather than researching and reporting the truth.
