Will Kylo Ren completely turn to the Dark Side in Star Wars 8 when he dons a Darth Vader-like costume as reported by Making Star Wars?
In The Force Awakens, the former Ben Solo wore a hooded cloak and mask. Kylo will be wearing a black outfit in Star Wars 8 similar to what Luke wore in the Return of the Jedi, sources told Making Star Wars.
More significantly, a “Darth Vader” cape forms part of the Kylo’s new wardrobe. Sources likened Kylo’s to cape which Darth Vader wore on The Empire Strikes Back and the Return of the Jedi. The unnamed sources, however, reveal that Kylo’s cape will sport a different chain clasp.
The sources did not say if Kylo had made a copy of Anakin Skywalker’s cape. But the new cape could also be the Dark Lord’s original cape he acquired from Star Wars galaxy collectors.
Rian Johnson wrote the script for Star Wars: Episode VIII. However, Johnson did not give any specific detail on the Star Wars 8 plot. It begins right after the conclusion of The Force Awakens, according to Cinema Blend. The final scene shows Rey and Luke Skywalker meeting for the first time.
Star Wars 8: Kylo Obsessed with the Dark Lord?
The Force Awakens shows Kylo’s obsession with the Dark Lord. This obsession enables First Order’s Supreme Leader Lord Snoke to lure him to the Dark Side.
In Star Wars 8, Kylo continues his search for Luke, the last Jedi. He believes that the ultimate goal of his grandfather is the death of the last Jedi.
Aside from Kylo, another Star Wars 8 cast member has a new outfit. Luke Skywalker will have an upgrade from the white robes he wore at the conclusion of The Force Awakens.
Star Wars 8 is now in post-production. It is scheduled for release on December 15, 2017.
