Everyone’s favorite Spaniard, Miguel, returns to Tekken 7 Fated Retribution as he continues his quest for revenge.
The Story of Miguel
First appearing in Tekken 6, the rebellious and reckless Miguel Caballero Rojo returns to the Tekken franchise as the latest character revealed for the console and PC port of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.
Miguel is a wild and unruly individual who has a love for the fight. And the way he fights can only be described as a “brawler.” With his towering figure and fearsome aura, as well as his bloodthirsty attitude, he often started fights with people around him. At the age of 15, his parents kicked him out of their home due to his behavior.
However, he does have one thing he truly cares for in his life – his sister. She would sneak out of their home and visit Miguel in secret after he was kicked out. The one person he learned to truly trust and love in his life. But that just made it all the more painful when his sister died on her wedding day.
On the day of his sister’s wedding, Miguel attended the ceremony from outside the church to avoid confronting his parents. However, tragedy strikes as planes fly over the church and set it ablaze in a fiery inferno. Blown away by the blast and in great pain, Miguel pushed on to look for his sister only to discover her already dead, her dress covered in blood. He later learns that the attack that killed his sister was caused by the Mishima Zaibatsu and vows to get revenge on their leader – Jin Kazama.
Miguel’s story in Tekken 6 ends with him finding Jin Kazama but failing to get his revenge. So his role in Tekken 7 may continue his quest for vengeance.
