Guardians of the Galaxy 2: Characters – Old and New
Fans of the first movie need not worry as the well-loved crew will be back for the second round. Headed by Peter Quill a.k.a Star Lord (Chris Patt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (Vin Diesel), Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) and Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper) are all confirmed to appear.
Karen Gillan (Nebula) is coming back ‘more bitter’ than before. But Josh Brolin’s Thanos will not be reappearing for now.
They will be joined by newcomers Chris Sullivan, Elizabeth Debiki, and Pom Klementieff. One of the biggest to join the cast is Kurt Russell, who will play as the Star Lord’s father. Guardians of the Galaxy 2: The Story
Based on the trailer released, Marvel Studios is not likely to reveal what the plot of the Guardians 2 is about. But few details are going around about what the story will be about.
The second installment is a more emotional film than its predecessor, centering on family issues and revelations. Hollywood Reporter has written about Kurt Russell describing the story. The movie being about “finding out who you are, where you come from, and where you’re going.”
“More connected to human issues, family issues, parental issues, and issues that sons and daughters have with their moms and dads and their family tree, where they come from,” Russell said.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2: Villains
It is not clear who the other villains will be, aside from Nebula. But Writer/Director James Gunn has posted on Twitter an artwork that gives us an idea that the Guardians will be facing an octopus-like monster.

Though not sure, but looking at the other Marvel movie ratings, this one is sure to get a PG-13 rating. The kids will still enjoy watching Guardians 2 just like the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
