The Bachelorette Australia 2016 is almost ending with three men remaining for the chance of taking home the biggest prize– true love. Georgia Love has to pick between Jake, Matty or Lee.
Jake has always seemed to be ahead of all the other men competing. Even Georgia admits having felt a good nervousness the first time they met. But the like at first sight between the two is very much mutual.
The 30-year-old hunk from Queensland shared with Pop Sugar how he felt for Georgia on their first meeting and how he feels today. Initially, the lad joined The Bachelorette Australia 2016 for the challenge and excitement, not knowing at all how to expect.
Fondly sharing the evening they first met, Jake says he was “taken aback, just because of the way she held herself and those beautiful blue eyes.” He adds that moving forward the season, he did not devise any sort of plan and just did what he felt.
” It was off the cuff — if I was nervous, I wanted to be nervous. If I was speechless, I wanted to be speechless. I didn’t want it to be a staged meeting. I think I went through every bit of emotion the first night we met.”

The Bachelorette Australia 2016: Matty or Jake?
Even from the beginning, Jake seemed a strong contender. He was able to secure the first date and the first kiss apart from Georgia’s obvious attraction to him.
Though the humble young man tries not to over-predict or compare himself to the other two equally capable contestants, he reckons Matty is a strong competition. In addition, he even described Matty as the greatest guy he has met.
“Matty J in one sentence? Matty J is one of the greatest guys I’ve ever met.”
If that is how Jake feels about Matty, there’s a big chance Georgia sees him that way too.
The 29-year old New South Wales lad has always been very opinionated and honest about how he feels. This, for Georgia, is a plus since you never really know what someone is thinking especially in a competition like The Bachelorette Australia 2016.
However, Lee might still be in the running. Not because Matty is a strong contender or Jake is Georgia’s first bet, either of them is assured a victory.
Georgia will still have to choose along with the world who her one true love will be.
