Ever since Taylor Swift news of her breakup with Tom Hiddleston, rumors were flying about Tay Tay getting back together with ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris. Neither both parties confirmed the reports.
But a recent development has led fans to believe that the singer has indeed got back with Harris. This is after Swift sung Harris’ song This is What You Came For during her concert last Saturday night at Circuit of the Americas race track.
Swift told fans that it was her first time to sing the song live. “I’ve never played this song live before,” she said. “But if you know it, maybe you could sing along, and then I could get to know what that feels like to hear it sung back to me,” Time reported.
The video was recorded and posted on Twitter by Taylor Swift Updates. The video showed the singer sitting and playing on the piano while singing the song. Fans went crazy over the performance; they are heard shouting and singing along.
The concert Welcome to F1 on a Saturday Night is the Grammy-winner’s only concert for 2016. She performed in front of up to 80,000 fans in celebration of the Formula 1 Grand Prix last weekend in Austin, Texas.
The singer co-wrote the song with the Scottish DJ who was her boyfriend of more than a year before they broke up June 2016. The reason for the breakup is still unclear although many reports have surfaced as to the cause.
An article from iTechPost let on that Harris might spill the beans as to the cause of their breakup. Alan Carr went to Las Vegas to shoot an episode with Harris shortly after his breakup with the singer. It is said that Harris disclosed the reason for their breakup and Tom Hiddleston might be the cause.
The episode is just a test run and might never be aired so we may never really know the real cause behind the end of the Swift-Harris relationship. The two never talked about it to the media. But close friends said there is no third party involved.
