After a disappointing display of Smackdown’s No Mercy, WWE is determined to make WWE Hell in the Cell 2016 an event that the fans are never to forget.
Initially, the lineup includes five different fights with Sasha Banks battling it out against Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Championship in a Hell in a Cell match. Kevin Owens will also be wrestling against Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship in a Hell in a Cell match. For the U.S. Championship in a Hell in a Cell match, it will be Roman Reigns vs. Rusev. TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick will be fighting for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Lastly, New Day vs. Sheamus and Cesaro will be the Raw Tag Team Championship fight.
However, according to speculations, the cards will be changed last minute to surprise its fans with Undertaker vs Sting replacing Banks vs Charlotte.
Other than the pressure to make this pay per view match sell after the bad reviews from No Mercy, these assumptions happened as well because of Undertaker’s unfinished business.
Fans are predicting that the Undertaker fight will be against Sting, who like the Dead Man has been Missing In Action from WWE.
However, at the moment, there are no confirmations that the two will be fighting this October.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 Predictions
According to Heavy, the tag team competition will be won by New Day because of the expected Sheamus and Cesaro miscommunication. The two are known to always disagree with each other causing more problems than being helpful.
Despite Kendrick’s desperate hunger to become the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Heavy predicts that Perkins will prevail in the end. “Expect plenty of near falls and desperation on Kendrick’s part,” shares Heavy.
The ladies’ match is a historic one as they are the first women to fight in WWE Hell in a Cell 2016. The two heavily skilled women will battle it out to win the WWE Women’s Championship belt. Heavy thinks that Banks will be keeping her newly-won belt after the match is over.
The WWE United States Championship match will be won by the still reigning champion, Reigns says Heavy. Though Rusev will definitely be able to commit severe blows to the incumbent champion, in the end it will be Reigns holding the title still.
Finally, the WWE Hell in a Cell Match 2016 for the WWE Universal Championship fight, Heavy speculates that it will be a long and entertaining match with Owens winning after “some form of heel trickery.”
