Days before the presidential debate 3, Republican candidate Donald Trump blatantly accused the electoral process of being rigged.
During a rally in Wisconsin, Trump accused the current electoral process of the US as being untrue. He said “People who died 10 years ago are still voting.” He also stated that current President Barack Obama won because of the help of unregistered voters and non-citizens. “We have voters all over the country where they’re not even citizens of the country and they’re voting.”
The Republican nominee also took to Twitter to solidify his claims of electoral fraud saying “Of course there is large scale voter fraud happening on and before election day. Why do Republican leaders deny what is going on? So naive!”
President Obama broke his silence and addressed Trump’s allegations saying that the candidate is unfit for the position but also that what he is doing can be destructive to the state.
“One way of weakening America and making it less great is if you start betraying those basic traditions that have held it together for well over two centuries.”
President Obama added, “I have never seen in my lifetime or in modern political history any presidential candidate trying to discredit the election process before votes have even taken place.”
The president advises Trump to change his attitude if he will in fact be elected on November 8.
“If you start whining before the game’s even over, then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job. Because they are a lot of things that don’t go your way.”
Presidential Debate 3
The presidential debate 3 will be held on October 19, 2016. And with barely three weeks before the election, Trump who used to be the forerunner of the race is having major set backs caused by the series of issues related to him.
Some are saying that his attempt to discredit the electoral process is merely his way of coping with the claims thrown at him.
Because of the widespread hate for the candidate, citizens are starting to act up. One particular case is a postal office employee who brags about destroying absentee ballots with votes for Trump.
According to Inquistr, the employee tweeted saying “[I] love working at the post office in Columbus, Ohio and ripping up absentee ballots that vote for trump.”
This tweet caused argument over social media between the legality and legitimacy of the user’s tweet.
Surprisingly, New York Post shared a tweet wherein despite his unpopularity, people still believe he will win unless an electoral freud is committed.
