WWE Raw 2016: Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar Cancelled Tonight? Moved to Oct 31

A champion will return to WWE! However, it seems fans will have to wait a few more weeks for his esteemed appearance. Denver, Colorado will set the stage for a much-awaited Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar match.

Albeit, not literally. According to Wrestlezone, the champ will be facing Paul Heyman in Denver first before announcing Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar. This may be a good preview of things to come as WWE 2K17 has recently been released.

This is also a good way for Lesnar to even the odds as Goldberg is the one dent on his incredible record.

Bill Goldberg will be having two more appearances on the October 31 and November 14 episodes of Raw. This time, the latter will be the showdown before the Survivor series.

Settling scores

The one and only iteration of Goldberg vs Brock happened back in WrestleMania XX. In what seems to be a farewell match, Goldberg dominated Brock Lesnar. However, in a surprising turn of events, Vince McMahon affectionately gave both men the middle finger. Stone Cold Steve Austin, the special referee at the time, served both men a Stunner on their way out.

While both men seemed to have aged, Lesnar seems to have a clear advantage. However, fans will have to wait another month before Goldberg and The Beast Incarnate face once again.

According to Give Me Sport, both men will have split appearances on Raw to hype the WWE Survivor Series next month.

Goldberg’s match with Heyman may be an indication that Lesnar is next on his list. Lesnar will most likely give his response in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Goldberg will show up in another event on October 31 in Hartford Connecticut before finally facing off on November 14 in New York.

This will be the last time the two will face off before fans head towards Toronto’s Air Canada Center.

While this delay may upset fans, this is a good move for WWE to rake up ratings from excited viewers.
