Did Rockstar Games just tease Red Dead Redemption 2? The popular developer appears to have revealed a major bombshell in recent developments.
Fans will notice a particularly familiar dash of red in the studio’s social media accounts. The iconic black-yellow-white logo and scheme are now replaced with a red-heavy background.
Players and fans of Red Dead Redemption and those waiting for Red Dead Redemption 2 will know the red is a particular important element in the aesthetic of the game. Loading screens and promotional artwork all have this prominent shade. This is what forces players and fans to connect the two elements together.

If this particular Tweet were to be believed, then according to Rockstar Games (albeit unofficially), then we may have a Red Dead Redemption 2 coming extremely soon.
Fans will be ecstatic to wait for the announcement. After all, this game made an absence in recent gaming conventions. Players often wait for announcements like Red Dead Redemption 2 in events such as E3 and Tokyo Game Show but it seems Rockstar Games want to spice up things a little.
However, while there were new games that are teased by the company, it appears none of them will come out until April 2017.
As early as April
A leaked image of a Red Dead Redemption 2 game world map appeared online last April 2016. According to GameSpot, the image was first posted on NeoGAF but was removed. Apparently, a “source” close to the development revealed this is the actual thing.
If the map were to be believed, then iconic features from the first game will be expected. There are the Great Plains and the Blackwater area, as well as numerous new islands. The game may also be a prequel, given the lack of railroads in the map.
Another interesting feature is the addition of a New Bordeaux area is located. This is the open world for Mafia 3. It can be remembered that Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, is responsible for producing the game.
However, clamor for Red Dead Redemption 2 already began as soon as the game was released. The original game had a May 2010 release for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Its odd open world and Western theme received praise from critics. However, its moral conundrums perhaps got the best of players’ hearts.
While Red Dead Redemption did not receive PlayStation 4 support, it was eventually added to Xbox One backward compatibility titles.
However, the tease opened more mysteries for the games. If this is not Red Dead Redemption 2, then it can be a re-release of the original game for the PlayStation 4. It can be remembered that Red Dead Revolver – the first game of the series – was re-released on the PlayStation 4.
Another possibility is a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, which was a popular request at the time.
