Westworld episode 3 is set to air tonight and fans are already expecting another round of gore and mystery.
The new HBO series has just premiered two weeks ago but a hoard of fans are already following its every move. Not to mention, the past two episodes have left fans at the edge of their seats wanting more of the cynic amusement park.
So what has Westworld episode 3 in store for fans?
Here are a list of spoilers to guide you through the new EP.

Westworld episode 3, “The Stray”, Synopsis
Elsie (Woodward) and Stubbs (Hemsworth) head into the hills in pursuit of a missing host. Teddy (Marsden) gets a new backstory, which sets him off in pursuit of a new villain, leaving Dolores (Wood) alone in Sweetwater. Bernard (Wright) investigates the origins of madness and hallucinations within the hosts. William (Simpson) finds an attraction he’d like to pursue and drags Logan (Barnes) along for the ride.
New Villain Revealed!
The first two episodes have established Dolores and Teddy’s blooming love story. Although each day is almost routinary, the two aim to find themselves in each other’s arms. That is until one day when they found Dolores’ family murdered. Defending his love, Teddy, too, is shot dead by the Man in Black.

However, in episode 3, Teddy will be getting a new backstory which leaves Dolores alone. The young man will be pursuing a new villain. Will it have anything to do with the previous episode’s events? Is the new villain a host or a new comer? Fans will have to watch the new episode to find out.
Bernard is a Host?
As with any hit TV show, fan theories come aplenty. For Westworld HBO, some fans have come to the conclusion that Bernard is not human, but is actually a host.
Working on the hosts A.I. closely, it seems Bernard knows more than what viewers see. He has been having off-the-record interactions with hosts, and has been trying to deal with their emotions. Could it be that he is just like them?
Moreover, could it be that Bernard is the one trying to make the robots become self-aware?
It’s an interesting theory to mull on, and one that is very plausible. I guess fans will have to wait until more episodes of the HBO new TV series unfolds.
Westworld episode 3 airs tonight, Sunday, at 9pm on HBO.
