PlayStation VR Games Review: Batman Arkham VR, Here They Lie, Valkyrie & More!

Virtual reality fans are preparing to enter a new world. The PS Store is now brimming with PlayStation VR games to choose from. Here’s the best picks to go with the PlayStation VR launch tomorrow, October 13.

It will be a very busy week for gamers with the PlayStation VR launch. With a ton of PlayStation VR games to play with, weekends will surely be more fun with friends. However, with over 10 games to choose from, just what dominates the list?

I am the night! (in VR)

Despite the remarkable list of PlayStation VR games, others just shine above the rest. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, some hidden VR gems are the following.

Batman: Arkham VR may take the cake as it is a retelling of the Dark Knight’s journey in VR. Players will have access to an entirely new Batman story, along with beloved (and unloved) characters from the comics. Fans will be able to play as Batman and use his gadgets and skills in this mystery-action title.

Battlezone VR puts you inside the cockpit of futuristic tanks. You can finally dish out nuclear vengeance with a variety of weapons and shields that make you feel like you’re in the heat of battle yourself. EVE: Valkyrie offers the same experience, but in space, as you drive one of the hit MMO’s futuristic warbirds and fight with and against others.

Rez Infinite VR is a trippy racer that classic players will recognize. The game is a remake of Sega’s classic rail-shooter, this time with more psychedelic twists.

RIGS Mechanized Combat League allows players to control appropriately-named mechanical warbots. The team-based shooter pins robots versus robots with an assortment of weapons and skills.

Here They Lie and Until Dawn brings you to nightmarish realms inhabited with terrors you cannot comprehend. The former brings you to an abandoned city inhabited by ghosts, lurkers, and strange creatures. The latter will make you face hordes of nightmarish creatures in frightening VR.

Wayward Sky is a lighter VR experience. Players will be guiding a young pilot named Bess who will solve puzzles to find clues about his missing father.

Lastly, PlayStation VR Worlds brings you to an assortment of “VR realms” fashioned for your experience. You can experience an assortment of genres depending on your playstyle, each with their own mechanics.
