After taking a short break from the small screen, NCIS New Orleans season 3 resumes with episode 3 to air on Tuesday. The third episode has the team investigating a petty officer’s murder that took place in a sports arena.
NCIS New Orleans season 3 episode 2, which aired last September 27 entitled Suspicious Minds was about former Navy Intelligence Analyst, Elvis Bertrand (Tom Arnold) who became the primary suspect of a triple homicide case that happened during a floating poker game. Unfortunately for Bertrand, the FBI is intent in believing he is the suspect despite his innocence. However, Special Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) is not convinced and upon pursuing the case, they figure out that the suspect is an employee of a cyber company, trying to launder money online.
Episode 3, entitled Man on Fire, is about a murder of a decorated petty officer whose body was found inside a sports arena. The case leads Pride and his team to a kidnapping case tracing to as far as Mexico.
Mario Lopez also guest stars in the third episode of season 3.
NCIS New Orleans Season 3: Meredith Brody Is Back?
NCIS New Orleans season 3 fans were heartbroken when Agent Meredith Brody (Zoe McLellan) left the series on the season 2 finale without much explanation about why the actress left.
TV Line reports that the reason for the Agent leaving is more creative than personal. In the season 2 finale, Brody’s character is compromised with her association to Homeland Security Agent John Russo, who as it turns out was planning an act of terrorism.
Despite the team being able to stop Russo, Brody decided to leave because of the mistrust the incident has created.
TV Line also confirms that, unfortunately, season 3 will not be seeing the comeback of Brody. To fill her place is Agent Tammy Gregorio (Vanessa Fertile), a no-nonsense, by-the-book agent who left New Orleans for D.C ten years ago and was sent back to Cresent City to help Pride’s team.
NCIS New Orleans season 3 episode 3 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. EDT on CBS.
