The rumors never die, and so does Jaden Smith. A slew of reports again surface about Jaden Smith dead, and this time the updates seem to point to a more believable reason.
Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith, is no stranger to the limelight. He has starred in several movies alongside his father, and currently plays Marcus Kippling in the Netflix series The Get Down. Jaden was also featured in several music videos including Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never and the new version of Black Eyed Peas’ Where is the Love.
Being on headlines are no issue for Jaden, however recent headlines about his death seem to be too much already.
Jaden Smith Dead, Netflix to Blame?
New updates suggest that Jaden Smith dead is caused by the cancellation of his TV series. The actor reportedly committed suicide after he found out that Netflix has withdrawn the series and will not push through with season 2.
The Get Down season 1 has not shown good results of the network. It faired poorly in ratings, posting a disappointing 3.2 million viewers from the 18-49 year old in the demographic for its first 31-days. This seemingly pushed Netflix to cancel The Get Down season 2.
The cancellation is the rumored reason for Jaden Smith death.
However, the young actor quickly denied all rumors by posting a series of photos on Instagram, clearly revealing that he’s far from dead. The photos seemingly give a sarcastic “WTF” look for all the fake reports about his death.
Jaden Smith is not the only victim of the growing trend of celebrity death hoaxes. Over the weekend, reports of Brad Pitt dead have also been swirling online. Sylvester Stallone dead was also a growing trend early last month — however, all reports have been denied and the actors are all in good health.
