NBA Trade: Cavaliers Sign Chris Bosh? LeBron James Reunion [Rumors]

Chris Bosh and LeBron James might just be reunited this coming NBA season, after the Miami Heat confirmed letting the player go. NBA trade rumors suggest the Cavaliers will be signing the power forward.

It’s the end of the road for Bosh and the Heat. After playing for the franchise for six seasons and helping it win two NBA Championships, the former fourth round pick is hanging her MIA jersey. However, what was hoped to be a meek settlement ended sour for the athlete.

On Wednesday, Miami Heat President Pat Riley confirmed that the Heat are letting go of Bosh, and is no longer pursuing his return. He noted CB’s health as the main reason for the decision.

“We feel that, based on the last exam, that his Heat career is probably over,” Riley told reporters during the team’s Media Day. After being sidelined for the past two months due to blood clots, the 6’11 forward again failed his pre-season checkup this year.

“His health, playing and economics — it’s been health, health, health,” Riley added, notes the Sun Sentinel.

CB has missed much of the past two years after suffering a blood clot issue. In the 2014-15 season, he only played 44 games, while last season he suited up for 53 before sitting down due to his health.

However, Bosh has been optimistic that he will be playing this coming NBA 2016 season.

Chris Bosh NBA Trade – Will he sign with the Cavaliers?

The 11-time All Star may not be suiting up for the Heat this coming season, but NBA trade rumors suggest he might be joining the powerhouse, Cleveland Cavaliers.

While nothing has been confirmed, Bosh and LeBron James have been seen together over the summer, CBS reports. This may hint at a possible reunion.

Notably, James commented on the whole Bosh-Heat situation, saying that he supports his brother 100 percent.

“We all know it’s probably a difficult situation for him,” James told the press, notes

“(I was) pretty surprised a little bit to hear that the team is just done with him, and then to come out and say it. It’s not like I’ve been there, to know exactly what’s going on in the interior. So I’ve only seen it from the exterior like the rest of us.

“So, um, I just wish the best for him and he has my support.”

Should NBA trade rumors be true, then a Bosh and James reunion will just reinforce the already-strong Cavaliers. With James, Bosh, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in the same team, a possible back-to-back is on the horizon.
