Many consider Hillary Clinton to be the winner of the first US Presidential Debate 2016. However, the big question for a lot of voters is will Hillary Clinton health get in the way of her possible presidential term?
The first presidential debate saw Hillary Clinton trump (pun intended) Donald Trump with her political prowess and experience, critics have observed. The first woman to ever earn a spot in the debates noted Trump’s belittlement of women and men of color in the US, as well his previous statements about supporting the war in Iraq.
As for the Republican representative, he called out the secretary for not being healthy enough. Pointing out Hillary Clinton health and “stamina” as major problems, The Apprentice host and top boss thinks she cannot handle the stress and pressure that goes with the position.
“She doesn’t have the look. She doesn’t have the stamina. I said she doesn’t have the stamina. I don’t believe she does have the stamina,” Trump said during the US presidential debate 2016, when asked about his comments on Clinton’s “look”.
“You have to be able to negotiate our trade deals…I don’t believe that Hillary has the stamina.”
On Wednesday, Trump again called our Hillary Clinton health, pointing out the “days off” that she took during her campaign. He said that his opponent was not “tough” enough.
“You see all the days off that Hillary takes? Day off. Day off. Day off. All those day offs. And then she can’t even make it to her car,” he noted, taking a swipe at a video showing Clinton almost fainting.
“Isn’t that tough? All those day offs. Right. Boom. Ever see her chart? ‘She won’t be campaigning today. She won’t be campaigning today.'”
Hillary Clinton age affecting her Campaign?
At 68 years old, the former first lady’s health has been hit by controversy after leaving a 9/11 event she attended due to “overheating.” Her doctor also confirmed that she was diagnosed with pneumonia and has been regularly having checkups.
However, a few days off from campaign, it seems Hillary Clinton health is back already and she’s more than capable to return to visiting rallies and cities around the US. Her age doesn’t seem to be an issue for her.
Notably, during the US Presidential debate 2016, the secretary of state said that she is used to all the stress already being in the political sphere for over a decade now. She fired back at Trump by saying that she has traveled over 112 countries already for her work in the government.
“Well, as soon as he travels to 112 countries and negotiates a peace deal, a cease-fire, a release of dissidents, an opening of new opportunities in nations around the world, or even spends 11 hours testifying in front of a congressional committee, he can talk to me about stamina.”
