Another rumor is that even before the release of season 1, the second season is already being discussed.
According to GameNGuide, the speculation was fuelled by a photo posted by Lisa Brown, Daniel Handler’s wife, on Instagram where the writer was in discussion at their home with other A Series of Unfortunate Events cast and crew.
Though the photo might mean plans for A Series of Unfortunate Events season 2, it can also be just about anything else—say, the premiere or the recently leaked script online.
Adding to the list of rumors is what seems to be a leaked script of A Series of Unfortunate Events Netflix episode 1 posted online. Posted on Reddit, the photo had the caption “The script further revealed a dialogue between Albert, Edgar, Klaus, and Eleanora.”
In addition, Count Olaf’s script was also shared in the post.
However, it was not confirmed if these are in fact actual script of the story or something someone just made up.
Despite all the unconfirmed rumors and speculations about the upcoming series adaptation by Netflix, we know for certain that if it is anything like the book series, then it will certainly be a good TV series that is well deserving of a season 2. Especially with calibre actors like Neil Patrick Harris, who has done spectacularly in How I Met Your Mother, fans expectations are over the roof and we sure do hope it will not disappoint.
A Series of Unfortunate Events Netflix is expected to air on 2017.
